"We live in Kailua-Kona and regularly baske in the ultimate feel-good experience that is found at Island Lava Java. It's a sidewalk cafe overlooking the ocean with delicious and healthy food. We don't drink coffee and go for the ambience and the food. We feel that Island Lava Java is a must do while visiting Kona. The roasted veggie pesto goat cheese omelet is highly recommended!"

"We've been coming here for the past 5-6 years during the Ironman. I have to say that my husband & I and the rest of the 20 people we come with have NEVER had a bad meal here. We usually stay 10 days right next door at Kona Alii & would come to ILJ 2-3 times per day. Great coffee, great food, good happy service & usually a crowd (during Ironman week for sure!) What else is there to say except, run, don't walk to ILJ for a legendary cinamon roll, before they sell out!"
